Feedback from Pastors / Priests - "What encouraged me."

From David in B.C. Canada

(A) Commit to pray for the Pastor before and during worship. This was the ever fulfilled commitment of Mrs. Hughes'Study/Prayer Group 35 years ago at St. Matthias'. As I walked up the isle in the processional hymn, I would look at the back of ten heads, knowing that they were singing and praying thus (double prayer if I was preaching).

(B) People who offer you Pastoral Care and "sanctuary homes'" Very special [church] couple who, as I was departing from Baptism prep session, flanked me at the door , and prayed for me, and offered their home for sancuary and coffee at ANY TIME or NEED, to "let hair down," with anything and in absolute confidence.

(C) People who bring Bibles to church, follow keenly, query after after a point in the sermon, and broadly show a commitment to grow as a disciple.

(D) People who say, "Here I am, send me," even before you ask about the task (and they are the one you were going to ask!). - David
